Complain to the NHTSA about your poorly designed, defective Motorcycle Helmet!

For 40 years, bikers have complained about their helmets, but as of Halloween, 2007, there were only 20 official complaints going back to 1995 on file at the NHTSA. There are 500,000 helmets recalled and most are probably on our heads! Tell NHTSA to force helmet makers to make helmets they are willing to stand behind and are rated for 70 mph. If they made a better product, the government would not have to force people to wear these torture devices.

Update: Within the first 48 hours of the Halloween 2007 Campaign, the number of official helmet complaints on file doubled compared to the last 12 years! Please tell all bikers they should be making their helmet complaints official. It’s easy!

Bike Run to Benefit the Barry Family September 24, 2006 On July 1, 2006, John and Karen Barry were riding their motorcycle on Route 44 in Glocester and were killed when a Jeep crossed the center line and hit them head on. John and Karen leave behind two children, Sarah 23 and Mariah 15. Sarah has one year left of nursing school and is attempting to complete school, take care of her sister and keep the family home. All of the proceeds from the event will go towards helping the children get through what is going to be a difficult time. Please come out and support this event. Registration will start at 9:30 am at Gator's Pub in North Smithfield, RI. At 11 am we will leave and take a scenic ride to Gary's in Cumberland, from there we will proceed to Tickers and then we will go up to Cady's Tavern and then come back to Gator's for a chicken BBQ, hamburgers and hot dogs. $150 for the best poker hand Raffle Prizes and a 50/50 Raffle $25 per rider and $20 per ticket for people that don't ride and would like to come to the BBQ after.
