| | | For 40 years, bikers have complained about their helmets, but as of Halloween, 2007, there were only 20 official complaints going back to 1995 on file at the NHTSA. There are 500,000 helmets recalled and most are probably on our heads! Tell NHTSA to force helmet makers to make helmets they are willing to stand behind and are rated for 70 mph. If they made a better product, the government would not have to force people to wear these torture devices.

Update: Within the first 48 hours of the Halloween 2007 Campaign, the number of official helmet complaints on file doubled compared to the last 12 years! Please tell all bikers they should be making their helmet complaints official. It’s easy!

sponsored by Bikers For Christ. Registration at 9am at the First Church of the Nazarene parking lot on 33 Staniels Road in Loudon. Ride departs at 10am. The ride will end at the Christian Worship Center in Barrington around noon with a hotdog cookout, prize raffle, and entertainment - all free to participants.
Registration for the ride is $20 per motorcycle with all proceeds going directly to CareNet. The first 25 on-line registrants will receive a free "Bikers for Christ Ride for CareNet" hat. Online registration can be done on the Capital Region Bikers for Christ website at www.bikersforchrist-nh.org.
