Membership is strictly limited to proven freedom fighters who become known to us as a result of their actions, using a nomination, vetting, second, and acceptance process. There are good reasons we are not an “open membership” dues-collecting organization. We have seen too many motorcyclist rights organizations (MRO) across the country infiltrated by safety nannies who pay their dues and then turn the mission of the MRO topsy-turvy. Soon, their primary events change from learning how to protect their rights to learning of the latest safety equipment. Their freedom rides have turned to charity runs. Their protests hve turned to picking up roadside litter. They ask legislators to create MORE regulations against motorcyclists. They inadvertantly ask legislators to discriminate against motorcyclists! This is nothing new. It has been going on in the MRO world for quite a long time.
