This just in, from the Mill City Rockers!! Bikers USA LOVES Mill City Rockers!!! They ride, and they rock, and you can see them in Weirs Beach!!
Tell all your friends that the Mill City Rockers will be playing in Laconia, NH during Bike Week.The name of the place is The Patio Restaurant.It is located in the Market Place right on Weirs Beach where all the action is.We will perform on Tuesday June 12th from 6:00pm to 11:00pm and on Saturday June 16th from 6:00pm until 11:30pm.

The Laconia Rally has its’ roots to the Loudon Classic race. The Loudon Race Track is now known as New Hampshire International Speedway NHIS and has NASCAR races in addition to the motorcycle races.. If you are a biker who also loves stock car racing, see the full Nextel series schedule.

If you are a long distance rider, on your way to the Laconia Rally, you might want to work Ohio Bike Week into your plans. They have a 3 day ride that makes it pretty cool for those bikers who want to join up with the ride in from other points such as Michigan, Canada, New York, Pennsylvania, and New England. Bikers USA is even considering a ride in from the south, (the Carolinas, Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, at the end of May. 2006 - 83 = 1923

According to a local news source, the Laconia vintage race began in 1938, and was known as the Laconia Gypsy Tour. It was orginally held at Gunstock. (See the photos from space). Nowadays, you’ve got small crowds for the vintage races held in downtown Laconia, and modern racing is at the Loudon International Speedway. The party tradition remains the same: Head to Weirs Beach after the races on Friday and Saturday night.
