PRIESTESS MOTORCYCLE COVEN
EMBROIDERED PATCH ARTWORK CONTEST The members of Priestess Motorcycle Coven are looking for a really cool patch. As one of the founders and Summoning High Priestess of the Coven, I want to get them the perfect patch. The most difficult part is creating the perfect artwork, and that’s really tough when your not an artist. I’ve found some artwork which might be okay, but getting permission from the artist can also be difficult. Priestess Motorcycle Coven does not follow the MC protocols and it doesn’t charge dues, and there are basically no rules, so it doesn’t follow the typical RC protocols either. Our patch won’t be a 3 piece patch, with top rocker, then patch, then bottom rocker. We’ll be happy with a one piece patch. I already knew of the traditions, and necessity, of getting any backpatch approved by the local dominant MC. This will be a bit difficult because Priestess has local covens throughout America and the world. Approval is going to have to come from dominant MC’s found just about anywhere. Until we have the patch, it can’t be approved by anyone.
Since, I’m not in the embroidered patch business, I kept running into problems right from the starting line. I found out that embroidered patches can be very expensive, and I needed to learn about the embroidered patch business. I still have problems with finding the perfect artwork for Priestess Motorcycle Coven, but am making some progress. We’ve had some great ideas already, but probably the best idea is to create an embroidered patch artwork contest, and open it up to all our biker sisters and brothers. Pretty soon, we will be announcing the rules and prize(s), and we’ll even share some of our ideas with you. All kinds of prizes are being discussed, including the possibly of a date with a PRIESTESS!
