The mission of Biker Professionals is two-fold: 1.) to advance the acceptance of motorcyclists as professionals in their professional careers, and acceptance by the biker community when they ride. Do not confuse all professional people as being yuppy bikers. It’s not necessarily true. See definition of bikers for the distinction. Basically, if a professional has an expensive motorcycle they use as a trophy to display, that’s a yuppy biker. You’re not a biker unless you ride it. If someone is trying to make a living, but they would prefer to be in the wind, or they get in the wind just about every chance they get, that’s a biker professional. If they can ride their motorcycle to the office and wear jeans, leather, and motorcycle boots, it’s the best of both worlds and I want their job! 2.) to provide biker professionals with a forum in which to promote themselves and their services within the biker community who will hopefully prefer to do business with fellow bikers when possible.
